Social Worker - Falkland Islands
I have been approached to find an experienced social worker for a three-month assignment in the Falkland Islands. This is an outstanding opportunity for a social worker to experience working in a British Overseas Territory. It will be a talking point for the rest of your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with children and families to provide support and assistance.
- Assess individuals and families to determine their needs and develop plans for services.
- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience.
- Driving licence for a manual car.
- Demonstrated background in working with children and families.
- Knowledge of child protection and court proceedings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the role and the community.
