Head Medical is seeking post foundation doctors for Orthopaedic positions located in Palmerston North ; a vibrant and youthful city, set at the foot of the Tararua mountain range. It has all the facilities that you would expect of a city, yet is still compact, accessible, and easy to navigate.

The Role
Palmerston North Hospital is a 350-bed secondary teaching hospital providing one of the largest trauma centres in New Zealand serving an urban population of 80,000 and a total population catchment of approx. 168,000. There are excellent facilities on site including a lecture theatre and library. Personal development and teaching are actively encouraged

The department is committed to teaching and development ensuring you gain valuable operative experience and mentorship from Consultants. This role will allow you to further develop surgical skills; with a high case load of trauma surgery alongside a diverse range of elective procedures.
