Our client is looking for a GP to join their busy mixed billing practice 30 minutes from Cairns CBD.
The Role
- 65% of billings to rise to 70% when Fellowship is received

The Practice
The practice is open 7 days a week; Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am – 3pm. Drs are offered flexible work hours allowing for a great work life balance. This modern and purpose-built practice is made up of 7 consultation rooms, 3 treatment areas, 1 nurse room, 2 waiting areas and children’s play area. You will be joining a team of 2 GPs, nurses, admin staff and allied health including Osteopath and Clinical Psychologist. Current GPs are all fully booked so any incoming Dr can expect to have a full patient base from day one. Perfect opportunity for Drs with a special interest in Skin Cancer.
The Location
The practice is located 30 minutes from Cairns CBD and 15 minutes from Cairns International Airport. It is within walking distance to an array of restaurants and cafes as well as being in close proximity to the beach and nearby shopping centre.
Cairns is a laidback city best enjoyed outdoors. It is home to the unforgettable Great Barrier Reef and Wet tropics world heritage rainforest that is over 100 million years old and home to the famous Curtain Tree Fig. Cairns, the gateway to the Tropical North is one of Queensland most adventurous cities where you can snorkel through coral gardens, sail to nearby tropical islands, visit the Kurunda Koala Gardens or connect to local culture through local Indigenous people, watching traditional performance and exploring new artwork.
