The Practice
The practice is open Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm and Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm. All GPs across the practice work alternating Saturdays and the practice are looking for a GP who is happy to contribute to this.
Here you will join a team of 8 GPs, 3 nurses, Practice Manager and support staff. The practice itself includes a 3-bed treatment room, plus separate Immunisation/ Health Assessment Room and is co-located with a pharmacy and pathology. The practice is also a teaching partner with the college of Medicine and Dentistry of James Cook University, so is a great opportunity for any GPs who have a special interest in teaching.
All GPs are currently fully booked with a few days wait time for patients meaning that any incoming GP can expect to be fully booked from the start.
