This client is opening their fourth surgery in the Canberra area. They have three very successfully surgeries that are independently owned by an experienced manager.
They are modern and well equipped centres in close proximity to Canberra.
The centres are equipped with the latest technology. They have treatment rooms, in-house Pathology, large waiting rooms, back office, staff kitchen and bathroom and a disabled toilet as well. Nurse and administrative support and well trained receptionist staff make the centre a patient-friendly place and create an efficient and pleasant work environment for doctors. Allied health professionals also work in the practice on a regular basis.
Opening hours -
The centres are open 7 days; 9am - 9pm on weekdays and 9am - 5pm on weekends
The willingness to participate in the after hours will be required although a full time working week should be around 38 – 40 hours per week.
- 70% of billings
- 75% of billings in the after hours
- $120 per hour minimum guarantee or 70% billings, whatever is higher (until running at capacity)
- Once fully established you can expect to be earning in the region of $400k plus pa.
- Minimum contract is 2 years
The Location

Canberra is a thriving city with a low unemployment rate, and only a couple hours drive away from Sydney. It is also close to some of the East Coast’s most beautiful coast line and some of Australia’s ski fields. Other leisure pursuits include wineries with cellar doors that welcome visitors to taste their locally grown produce.
This clean safe city has the lowest unemployment rates in Australia and also the highest levels of pay.
