Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert care to patients with rheumatic diseases, including diagnosis, treatment, and management
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conducting consultations, assessments, and follow-ups in outpatient clinics and hospital settings
- Participating in research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives within the department
- Responsibility for the continuing care & treatment of patients in your charge & personal performance of clinical duties as agreed in your job plan, allowing for all proper delegation to, & training of your staff.
- To actively participate in both departmental & Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance & audit.
- To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
Qualifications:
- Medical degree and completion of specialty training in Rheumatology
- Full Specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligibility for registration
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in Rheumatology practice
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
