Block Booking - Ophthalmology Scrub RN/ODP
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse/ODP with Ophthalmology Scrub experience for a block booking in Inverness. The position begins in September and is initially set for one month, with the potential to extend monthly. This role is at the National Treatment Centre, where you will join a team of four, assisting an assigned surgeon to perform 16 cataract surgeries per day. Work hours are from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday through Friday, starting Monday, 2nd September.
Please note, this position does not include contributions towards travel or accommodation. It is ideal for someone living within a commutable distance of Inverness or who has local friends or relatives for accommodation.
Role Requirements:
- Registered Nurse/ODP with Scrub experience in Ophthalmology
- At least two years of post-graduate theatre experience
- HCPC or NMC registration
- Authorisation to work in the UK
