The Area
Based in one of the most picturesque parts of Western Australia – Broome is a coastal town in the Kimberley region where work life balance is truly a way of life.
The regional population is approx. 40,000 and Broome itself has a population of approx. 15,000. Due to its coastal location, Broome’s climate is more moderate without the extremes of inland regions.
It’s also the gateway to the rest of the Kimberley and its fantastic natural environment, an expanse of national parks to explore like the Bungle Bungle Range, or Dampier Peninsula and Lake Argyle - it’s a great place to put down roots and base yourself, if you love the great outdoors.
Broome has a laidback and exotic vibe, reflecting its historical influences and majestic natural landscape. Cable Beach, one of the world’s most pristine white sandy beaches, is right on your doorstep, as is Roebuck Bay which you can see as you tee off on the beautiful Broome Golf Course.
The local airport has excellent flight connections to Perth (2.5 hrs), Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Darwin, so international connections are made easy.
