Consultant Interventional Radiologist - North Wales
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiologist to work on a substantive basis at a hospital located in North Wales. Situated in a beautiful area of the country you will have easy access to lakes and mountains, plus the chance to live in a coastal town. Access to a huge range of outdoor pursuits such as sailing, hill walking, and golf to name a few. Working within a busy department you will be part of a great team, with this post available due to retirement, there has been recent investment in equipment and a major refurbishment project is in place to be completed next winter.
You will participate in the general workload within the department including teaching of radiology trainees, students and other hospital staff. with a contribution to an on-call rota (overnight requirements are outsourced). Approximately 2-3 sessions of intervention, with exposure to vascular CT and MR also would be included for this post. Consultants with vascular and non-vascular skills are desirable, although purely non-vascular interventional radiologists may be considered.
